Youth Groups

Something for everyone
Pilton Retreat is an escape for so many young people, giving them time to be themselves without the distractions of city life and sometimes chaotic homes which many of them can come from. MYDG use the centre regularly with local groups of young people. Sometimes for an overnight or 2 nights. The experiences many of the young people have can be life changing.
Pilton retreat lives up to it's name - it is a sanctuary and an escape from the challenges many children, young people, and their families face when stuck in the depths of poverty.

When children and young people come to the centre they can take part in a wide variety of activities. Each agency that uses the centre make their own plans and programmes to suit the needs of the young people that are with them at that time. We have lots of great communal indoor spaces.
- A large recreational room with pool table, air hockey, table football, and board games.
- Our living room space with comfy sofas, large TV and DVD, and wood burner.
- We have our new kitchen which is ideal for small or large groups we have plenty of space.
Our large extensive grounds include woodland areas with play equipment and an astro football pitch. We also have picnic benches for children, young people, and their workers to relax and chat together in a safe and supportive environment.
