Away Days at Pilton Retreat
Corporate away days can be beneficial in many ways.
They are a great way of providing an opportunity to energise teams, break the routine of the work environment, and improve overall employee well-being. If you take your team out of the office and put them in a different environment - encouraging them to collaborate, build trust, and create stronger connections - you’ll see how they adapt to different situations and recharge employees to return to work with newfound enthusiasm.

Over the last few years, a variety of corporate partners have hosted team and community days at Pilton Retreat, undertaking a range of important and fulfilling projects, including:
- Painting our office and kitchen.
- Buying and building a new BBQ and outdoor seating area for Pilton Retreat.
- Repairing our football nets.
- A range of important gardening tasks, such as weeding, clearing leaves, hedge-cutting, and clearing paths

Volunteer Sundays @ Pilton Retreat
The main aims of our corporate days have been to have fun, encourage teamwork, and share stories and experiences about work and life for everyone. We have been encouraged by the number of adults who are very keen to volunteer more regularly at the centre and give time back in a voluntary capacity at weekends.
Starting in September 2025 we will be having a Volunteer Sunday the last Sunday of the month from 2-5pm. All are welcome to help and support Pilton Retreat through our corporate contacts.
Fundraising for Pilton Retreat
Any form of fundraising would be greatly appreciated as we are a charity and continue to look for funding on a regular basis. We want to reach out to more corporate partners this year, hoping to secure dates in the diary for team days at Pilton Retreat. Please get in touch if you think you can help.
